Our History
Creation
Rising Care Alliance Inc., formerly Community Rescue and Development Service, CORDS, was founded at Dzaleka Refugee Camp (Dowa District, Malawi) with a mission to empower refugees and host communities through sustainable social and economic programs.
10/15/2021Incorporated in the United States
Following the founder's move to the United States, the organization expanded its mission to support displaced and underserved communities in both Africa and the U.S. EIN: 33-2589300
12/25/2024Rising Care Alliance Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering refugees and underserved people in rural communities to overcome adversity and achieve self-sufficiency.
Through comprehensive support services and community-led initiatives, we address critical needs and create pathways for lasting change.
With operations in Malawi and the United States, our mission is to deliver impactful programs that foster resilience, promote independence, and bring long-term results for the communities we serve.
